The first single "Stars Align" from the Destroyer EP debuted on NPR's All Songs Considered podcast this morning, and we were honored to have Bob and Robin debate whether we are "guitar rock" or not!
We'll be hitting the road in February and March, hitting Arizona and spots all across the country on our way to the Luck Reunion and SXSW in Austin, TX. Peep the dates under our Shows tab.

First off, Happy New Year everyone! 2016 was a huge year of growth for our band and 2017 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet: new songs, new videos, more festivals, expanded tours, you name it! And on that note, we just finished shooting the music video for a brand new song this past weekend at YouTube Space LA with the help of dozens of friends and our homies at Jam in the Van. It's gonna be great, so keep an ear and eye out in the near future...
We know Christmas just passed and we sincerely hope it was a joyous occasion for everyone. Happy Hanukkah as well! As the year comes to a close, it's never too late to let a Vally Queen fan know that you care--or treat yourself even! Official band shirts are on sale and can be purchased online (or at our shows) HERE.
Still feeling such good vibes after our Holiday in The Sun show with best buds The Wild Reeds, Cigarette Barbies and Isaak Opatz last Thursday at The Echoplex. The International Adventure Club decked the place out most festively and Vianne Robitaille took these dope PICTURES!
Valley Queen's making waves in the UK! Major thank yous to Sammy Maine and Trevor Elkin at GoldFlakePaint for reaching out and doing the interview. We sure do hope to make it to the UK and beyond in the future. The interview can be found HERE.
The homie Ben Henderson whipped up this beauty of a poster for our International Adventure Club-sponsored LA show at The Echoplex on 12/08 with The Wild Reeds, Cigarette Barbies and Izaak Opatz! What better way to kick off the holiday season in earnest--all ages, a photo booth, tickets here! Hope to see you there...

Just got back from a wonderful tour up and down the West Coast opening for The Wild Reeds! These new shirts sold like hot cakes but we have plenty up at the Jam in the Van store if you'd like to order online.
Shawn turned us onto this tune and after a few days, we knocked out this live performance video with help from some of our buds at Jam in the Van! A cover of Destroyer's beautiful "Painter In Your Pocket" Hope you dig it. More video treats are coming in the New Year...
Ken over at If It's Too Loud gave some serious love to "High Expectations" today! Thanks, buddy!
New shirts coming soon...stay tuned. Thanks for the rad design @13eam!
Had a fun l'il run through Arizona this weekend. Thank you to everyone for coming out! "My Man" was even voted Song of the Day in the Tucson Weekly!
After a very special, intimate show at The Standard - Hollywood last night, we're hitting the road for a long weekend in Arizona! Special thanks to Flagstaff Live! and Andrew Wisniewski and Tucson Weekly for spreading the word. @13eam sent us on our way with this cool poster! Our Audiotree session is now on all streaming/purchasable platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Topspin, and Bandcamp) AND Paste featured us in their Best of What's Next section. Major thank-yous to Grafton Tanner at Paste and the whole crew at Audiotree in Chicago--we love you!
Finally made it back to LA two nights ago and we played our return home show last night at The Roxy with our dear friends in The Dustbowl Revival--it was so nice to see such friendly and familiar faces! Our homie Chris Mortensen (affectionately known as "Morty") from Jam in the Van even snapped some pictures of us! Thanks, bud!
Finally had some downtime this long Labor Day weekend in Pittsburgh after playing 11 shows in 11 days. Special thanks to Audiotree Live for having us while we were in Chicago (should be online soon?) and on a special Labor Day note, our Blind Covers episode was released yesterday--thanks guys!
We are at World Cafe Live tonight in Philadelphia, free admission with a valid College ID!!!
Busy weekend! The Midwest has been so very kind to us so far on tour. Take a gander at these photos from River Roots Live in Davenport, IA on Saturday (shot by Small Wonders Photography) and this recap of our show at First Ave: 7th Entry in Minneapolis!
TGIF! All Things Go premiered our new video today for "In My Place" (which you can stream here, and buy here) and we're so delighted with how it came out. Andrew Knives is a true animation wiz. Come say hi!
Sorry guys! Been caught up for a minute with a multitude of things after our residency at The Bootleg Theater in July. That was a dream journey; very grateful to see so many new and familiar faces each night. But today, we are super stoked to have Brooklyn Vegan premiere our second single, "High Expectations," due out on Canvasback/Canvas Club tomorrow with A-Side "In My Place"! Thanks to Stereogum and Consequence of Sound for writing kind words about us as well in recent weeks!
LA Weekly blurb about Valley Queen's residency series at The Bootleg Theater this month! Don't sleep, Los Angeles!
Thrilled to be playing our first residency show TONIGHT at The Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles with our friends Scout Willis, Psychic Love and Send Medicine! And many thanks to NPR and Noisey for premiering our videos these past few days!
Valley Queen's special opening gig for Thao & The Get Down Stay Down at The Lagunitas Brewing Co. Amphitheater on 7/19 is sold out! But fret not, the waiting list for the free show is still open here.
We are excited to release our latest single and video "Who Ever Said." This is the first single from our upcoming album to be released later this year.
The release comes after the historic Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage, a theme which makes a clear statement in the video. We as a band are proud supporters of love and equal rights for all, and although this fight is still far from over, the recent news is reason to celebrate! Looking forward to seeing you at some of our upcoming shows this summer! Enjoy!
